PASSIONS is publication published by Rhubaba in 2022.
It brings together contributions from nine Black artists, curators and makers who are based in Scotland or have connections to Scotland, as they revisit and respond to Maud Sulter’s seminal publication Passion; Discourses on Blackwomen’s Creativity (1990).
Maud Sulter (1960 – 2008) was a Scottish-Ghanaian artist who grew up in the Gorbals in Glasgow. Her work spanned image-making, curating, sound, filmmaking, and writing.
